Provide full-range liquidity
Understand the broadest supported range, its capital tradeoff, and what it does not automate.
A full-range position uses the widest valid boundaries supported by the pool's tick spacing. It uses the same principal and fee accounting as other concentrated-liquidity positions; it is not a different token or a managed vault.
What changes when you choose full range
A wider range distributes your capital across more prices. Compared with a narrower position using the same budget near the current market, it generally supplies less liquidity at that particular price. The tradeoff is less sensitivity to ordinary movement beyond a narrowly chosen boundary.
“Full range” still means the protocol's supported, aligned price interval. It does not mean an unlimited price domain or a promise of continuous trading and income.
Funding still depends on price
At an interior price, funding a full-range position needs both assets in the required proportions. A wallet holding only token A cannot skip the token B requirement. A supported zap can obtain the second asset through a swap, but that introduces conversion costs and limits.
Use Add liquidity to review the effective boundaries, required amounts, maximum debits, and account deposits. The application should identify that you selected full range and show the actual range used.
The token mix continues to change
As trading moves price, your position's asset composition changes. Full range does not preserve a fixed 50/50 wallet allocation. It also does not protect against a token losing value, an issuer changing supply, or a pool or hook failure.
Fee income depends on trading through active liquidity and the pool's fee split. It may not compensate for the difference between providing liquidity and simply holding the original assets.
Manage it as a position
Full range does not collect fees, rebalance, or reinvest automatically. You still own a position with separate principal and fee claims. Partial withdrawals keep the remaining range; full withdrawal, fee collection, and closure are distinct operations.
A curve's graduation can create a creator-owned full-range position. That does not make curve buyers owners of that position. Read Curve launches before interpreting graduation as an LP allocation.
