Collect your fees
Move earned LP fees to your token accounts without confusing income, principal, and reinvestment.
LP fees accrue to your position while its liquidity participates in trades. Collecting transfers that existing claim to your token accounts. It leaves the position's liquidity and range unchanged.
Understand the balance you are claiming
After mandatory protocol retention, the remaining trading fees are split between LPs and configured beneficiaries. Your position earns from the LP allocation according to its participation in the traded intervals. Volume elsewhere in the pool does not guarantee income for an inactive range.
Fees are denominated in the assets in which they accrued. You may have token A fees, token B fees, or both. An estimated dollar value is not a dollar-denominated balance, and collection does not automatically convert the assets into USDC or SOL.
An up-to-date estimate includes fee growth since the position's last accounting checkpoint. A raw stored balance may therefore differ from a fresh claim calculation. Integer rounding can also leave small amounts that are not immediately claimable.
Review and collect
- Select the owned position and verify its pool and token mints.
- Review the estimated claim in each asset and the recipient token accounts.
- Compare the claim with the network fee and any account deposits required.
- Sign, confirm, and inspect the actual token transfers.
The owner must authorize collection. If the transfer fails, the claim clearing and transfers roll back together. If the transaction's status is unclear, check its signature before sending a replacement.
Fees can remain after withdrawal
Removing all liquidity can leave unpaid fees. A zero-liquidity position is not necessarily empty: collect the outstanding claim before closing it. An out-of-range position can also retain fees earned earlier, even though it currently earns no new swap fees.
Collection does not compound automatically
Collected tokens become wallet balances. Reinvesting requires a new liquidity deposit with the range's required asset mix. A conversion may be necessary, introducing trading fees, price impact, and new execution limits.
When tracking performance, count earned fees once. Collecting them changes where they are held; it is not a second income event. Compare the position and collected assets against the original deposits using a consistent valuation time. For a deeper explanation, see LP performance.
Creator and partner claims are separate
A configured fee beneficiary uses a different claim path from an LP position owner. Being the pool creator alone does not entitle a wallet to every pool fee. See Fees and revenue for recipient configuration, authorization, and current protocol-revenue boundaries.
