# Frequently asked questions

> Direct answers about the preview, registration, wallets and launches.

Choose a topic below. For the complete integration picture, see [availability](/reference/availability).

## Exploring the preview

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Can I buy or sell tokens here today?" id="can-i-buy-or-sell-tokens-here-today">
    No. You can explore the trading interface, but wallets, quotes and
    transactions are not connected. See [trading](/guides/trading).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why does Connect wallet not open my extension?" id="why-does-connect-wallet-not-open-my-extension">
    No wallet provider is connected. The button opens a connection-state
    explanation rather than requesting access or a signature.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Are the prices and status figures live?" id="are-the-prices-and-status-figures-live">
    No. Market prices, charts, gas and latency values are sample content.
    Browser FPS, when measured, is a rendering metric. See
    [availability](/reference/availability).
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Registration and eligibility

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Does registering cost money?" id="does-registering-cost-money">
    The GRAPL presale model starts with free registration. It does not collect
    funds before launch. The current preview does not submit registrations. See
    [public presales](/concepts/public-presales).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does registration reserve tokens or a price?" id="does-registration-reserve-tokens-or-a-price">
    No such entitlement has been defined. The planned benefit is eligibility for
    a buying window; an eventual purchase is a separate market action.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need to claim tokens after registration?" id="do-i-need-to-claim-tokens-after-registration">
    No. There is no prepaid allocation or token-claim stage in this model.
    Eligible participants would buy after the token reaches the market.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I change the wallet on my registration?" id="can-i-change-the-wallet-on-my-registration">
    The wallet-linking deadline, final-list policy and wallet-change rules are
    unresolved. The preview cannot link or change a real wallet. See
    [eligibility](/concepts/eligibility).
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Tokens, launches and hooks

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Where is the GRAPL token address?" id="where-is-the-grapl-token-address">
    GRAPL is issued only on the local Anvil lab, chain 31337. The [address
    snapshot](/reference/contracts) is local and ephemeral. There is no public
    GRAPL token deployment.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does Launch a token publish my draft?" id="does-launch-a-token-publish-my-draft">
    No. It previews project identity and review. The current draft is cleared
    when you leave or refresh the page. See [project drafts](/guides/launches).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Are GRAPL hooks audited or guaranteed safe by AI?" id="are-grapl-hooks-audited-or-guaranteed-safe-by-ai">
    No. The local hook is implemented and tested, with [explicit administrative
    powers](/reference/security). No external audit or AI safety guarantee is
    claimed. See [hooks](/concepts/hooks).
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## GEM, gacha and networks

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How do I earn GEM?">
    Locally, settled swaps through the registered GRAPL route earn GEM
    proportional to protocol fees, bounded by lifetime issuance. The app does
    not yet earn onchain rewards. See [GEM](/concepts/gem).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I transfer or cash out GEM?">
    GEM is nontransferable. Approved benefits burn it with explicit consent;
    there is no standalone cash redemption. Its [GRAPL
    reference](/concepts/gem-reserve) is not a price peg.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does burning GEM guarantee its value increases?">
    No. Consumption decreases both outstanding GEM and reserve backing.
    Issuance, funding, virtual supply and the ceiling all affect the reference.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does the animated bag deliver real tokens?">
    The frontend uses fixtures. The separate Anvil game transfers local tokens
    from funded inventory, but uses operator-selected entropy and has no
    timeout/refund lifecycle. See [gacha](/concepts/gacha).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is a 10% reserve allocation or 0.5% fee final?">
    No. Both are local examples. The 10% value is interpreted as a supply
    allocation in the fixture; its final valuation basis remains open. A 0.5%
    protocol fee is not an automatic gacha token allocation. See
    [parameters](/reference/local-parameters).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Is GRAPL only for Robinhood Chain?">
    The direction includes EVM networks with compatible v4 and hooks. Only Anvil
    is deployed. Candidate infrastructure does not imply GRAPL support, and no
    bridge or shared GEM balance exists. See [supported
    chains](/reference/supported-chains).
  </Accordion>
