# Explore the trading screen

> Get familiar with Buy, Sell and the information around an order.

<Info>
  The trade form is interactive, but no executable quote, wallet signature or
  transaction is requested. Amounts entered here do not move funds.
</Info>

Open a token from Explore or search, then use the **Trade** panel beside its market information.

## Choose an order side

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="Buy" icon="arrow-down">
    1. Select **Buy** in the Trade panel.
    2. Enter a sample amount in **You pay**.
    3. Read **Estimated receive**, **Fees** and the balance state.

    The estimated receive value remains unavailable. This is not a zero-value quote or an offer to buy at the price shown on the chart.
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Sell" icon="arrow-up">
    1. Select **Sell** in the same panel.
    2. The amount label changes to **You sell**, followed by the token ticker.
    3. Enter a sample amount and inspect the same quote and fee fields.

    There is no connected token balance or sell transaction. For a public presale, selling rules during the exclusive window are also still undefined.
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

Selecting **Connect wallet** opens an explanation that no provider is connected.
