# Your first look

> Explore a sample project, open its trading screen and understand free registration.

This walkthrough uses GRAPL's local app preview. You need the preview running on your computer; its address is in the app's local setup instructions. These documentation pages can be read independently of the app.

No account, wallet extension or funds are needed. By the end, you will have explored a token and a public presale without submitting anything.

  <Step title="Find Orbit">
    In **Explore**, focus the search field and type **Orbit**. The background dims and the result list updates. Orbit is one of the sample projects.

    Use the arrow keys and **Enter**, or select the result with a pointer. If you see a presale result, you can explore that project too.

  <Step title="Read the project">
    A token opens its detail view. Read the token name, ticker and creator, then expand **Rules, hooks & fees**. Notice the fields that are still undefined.

    Opening a detail URL directly shows a full page on either screen size.

  <Step title="Explore the trade form">
    On a token's trading screen, switch between **Buy** and **Sell**, and enter a sample amount. The estimated receive value stays unavailable because there is no live quote.

    **Connect wallet** opens an explanation of the current connection state. It does not request a wallet signature.

  <Step title="Look at a public presale">
    Close the detail and open **Public presales**. Choose a project with open registration. Read the eligibility and window information before selecting **Register for free**.

    The preview can show a wallet-pending step. No registration is submitted and no buying eligibility is created.
